It’s hard to believe but this dresser was bound for the dump 🤷‍♀️. I’ve actually had it in the workshop since last year and I’ve also had a design plan for it since then too 🙈. Finally the wallpaper has its outing 😍
This amazing colour is aptly called 🎨Aquadazzle from Colourtrend Paints. I didnt have any hardware for it so I used some mismatched ones I had spare and revamped them in this beautiful contrasting green colour that I mixed up. I was saying that while in lockdown I was going to try colour combos that I normally wouldnt. While I had always planned on this main colour with the wallpaper, I wasnt so sure on a contrasting colour for inside so I starting mixing and came up with this green. I am now so in love with this blue green combo. The weird thing is i dont think I can use this main colour again on anything. Id feel like I was cheating on this piece 🙈. This happens a lot when I use wallpaper for decoupage too, once I’ve used it on a piece that’s it and I don’t use it again. I have a load of wallpaper left over as you can imagine 😂 but it’s all available to use in my workshops so no waste 👌
To be fair if I had room myself I’d be keeping it 😉. I dont often keep pieces after i revamp them because i usually know I want a piece beforehand and then revamp it for myself. Every room in my house has painted furniture🎨. I may start a little project for fun and photograph one piece of furniture in my house a day just for the laugh. I’m not sure it will give you any insight into to my style because absolutely nothing matches 😂😂
