Sentimental Stunner
There’s nothing like a true sentimental piece getting a makeover. It does need a lot of thought put into it, but I think the end result is totally worth it. I’m in the middle of trying to finish commissions before xmas and here was me thinking I’d have loads of time to get through some of my stock too 🤣🤣. Anyhow this piece is a real stunner now and is going home.

Restore More
Another beautiful restoration by The Revamps newest recruit. If you didn’t know, I had to finally take on an apprentice this year and who better than my other half Johnny. I’ve been training him on restorations this year and as you can see he has taken to it like a duck to water. So the good news is from next year we will be adding restoration projects to the list of services. And I guess The Revamp Tramp is now a ‘we’ and not a ‘me’ anymore 🤣🤣🤣
Fabulous in Floral
So after a week of teaching upcycling its back to the grind of doing the work myself 😁. This chest of drawers is for a little lady and isn’t it just so pretty and happy. I’ve been doing loads of kids furniture recently and I must say I’m really loving it. I’m looking at a
lot of my stock and now rethinking it for children instead of adults 🤣

Back to School
And that’s a wrap with 5 days of workshops with the fabulous Transition Year Students from Newtown School. I’m not sure who had more fun this week, me or them 🤣. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and I just can’t believe how much work they did this week, all while keeping their creativity flowing at all times.
A staggering total of 44 pieces of furniture were revamped this week by the extremely hard working TY students in Newtown. So I’m putting up an album for just pure furniture inspiration now. There is something for everybody in this selection and keep and eagle eye out as some of these may very well be available to buy at a later date. Ill keep you updated ☺
Marvel-lous
Is there anything more fun than designing a piece of furniture for a kids room 😁. If you haven’t already guessed this chest is based on the Marvel Universe, I even got a spiders web added in on the mirror 🤣👌. I’m thinking this will go down very well when it gets home 😉

Those Were The Days
It’s not often you get in an original 1950s kitchen dresser 😍
It had decades of paint on it 🤣🤣 so there was a lot of prep work, but I really wanted to bring it back to an original 1950s design.

All Dressed Up
And another commission finished. This is a stunner of a dressing table, but definitely needed a little tlc and brightening up. Unfortunately the mirror had seen better days, although don’t ever be put off if you see a beautiful old dressing table where the mirror is unusable. There are ways around everything and a standalone mirror can work just as well. Evertime I see feet like this I just have a compulsion to make them gold.

Only Boys Allowed
I’m on a roll this week 😂. This bedroom set is for a little boys room, and the colour combo of green and yellow is just georgous. Of course as usual the hardware got a revamp of little decoupage stars just to finish it all off. I’m actually unbelievably productive this week, in between all the workshop stuff I’ve also being revamping my kitchen cupboards in between (keep an eye for the before and after soon 😉)
Onto another dresser next and then a fab antique dressing table that just arrived in today 👌
