The Revamp Tramp was established in 2015 by myself Marianne. Legend claims I was born with a paintbrush in hand and this may very well be true as my first upcycling project was painting my father’s car with a lovely black gloss paint when I was 5. Fortunately, I have moved away from the gloss paint.

Having received a diploma in Interior Design and a BA hon Degree in Visual Art I knew I also wanted to play my part in effecting change environmentally so I decided to fuse my creative backgrounds to start upcycling furniture and not cars. Focusing on high standard finishes whilst keeping up with trends both old and new I also love experimenting with a multitude of colours and designs to produce items that are unusual and original. I also welcome commission work from clients as well as running my popular upcycling workshops throughout Ireland allowing others to experience this exciting and creative art.

I am extremely passionate about up-cycling not only for its environmental value but also for the satisfaction of bringing old furniture back to life. I use Colourtrend Paints for my work which allows me to include more issues that I am passionate about, shopping local and using Irish Brands
