Finally finished the 3rd Chest of Drawers from the @Kollect delivery. Didnt even have a plan for this one just blindly picked a few colours to go with the wallpaper on drawer 3. While I have the time I’m trying out some of the more unusual colour combos. Some will work and some wont no doubt 😂.
New handles and a little distressing around the edges to finish. I used distressing on this piece just to break up the paint blocks. You always know when finished painting whether a piece needs just a little extra something and distressing can be the perfect technique to use in that situation. This brings me to the next video tutorial I’m going to do which is all about glazing and distressing. I was hoping to get it done today but time just got away from me so tomorrow it is. Anyone out there right now looking at your pine furniture and thinking about getting rid if it, please rethink and think about upcycling. Whether you try your hand at it yourself or get a professional to do it, I promise you wont regret it and neither will your wallet 😉
